Best Content Studios in London (2026)

12 London content studios making brand, social and entertainment content in 2026, from publisher studios to holding-company production units

Introduction

London has one of the broadest benches of content studios anywhere, from publisher-owned brand studios to holding-company production units and independents that make television as well as ads. The 12 studios below were chosen for recent work, 2025 and 2026 news and recognition, and the brands they work for.

The past year reshaped the top end. WPP folded Hogarth into WPP Production in February 2026, a unit of around 10,000 people with a new content capture and virtual production studio in London. Little Dot Studios moved from All3Media to Banijay UK, Brave Bison made an offer for System1, and Wonderhood Studios agreed to buy Elvis Communications from Next 15. Publishers kept growing their brand work too: LADbible Group took the branded content prize at Campaign’s 2026 Media Company of the Year awards.

Every studio here has an active London office in 2026. Social-first agencies have their own London list, as do production companies, so this page concentrates on studios built around content volume, channels and branded entertainment. The list runs in no fixed order of merit.

The best content studios in London

1. WPP Production

Owned by WPP · London · wpp.com

WPP Production is WPP’s global production company. It launched on 23 February 2026, bringing Hogarth and production teams from across the network into one organisation, and is led by Richard Glasson, previously Hogarth’s global CEO. It has around 10,000 people in more than 40 cities, and WPP built a major content capture and virtual production studio in London as part of the set-up.

The work is high-volume production and adaptation for WPP’s client roster, run on WPP Open’s production technology and AI workflows. Brands that worked with Hogarth will mostly find the same people under the new name. It is worth confirming which London team and which studio facilities your account will use.

What to look for in a London content studio

Start with the kind of output you need. Production units such as WPP Production and Tag are built for volume and adaptation across markets. Publisher studios such as LADbible Group and Jungle Creations bring their own audiences and data. Studios such as Wonderhood and Little Dot can make long-form series and run channels on your behalf.

Ask who owns the channel and the content afterwards. Some London studios run YouTube and FAST channels for brands and rights holders and share the revenue, while others deliver files and step back. Agree rights, usage periods and archive access before the first shoot.

Check how AI is used. Several studios on this list now describe their production as AI native or run it on AI workflows. Ask what is generated and what is filmed, and how likeness, music and licensing are cleared.

Then look at the pipeline: where rushes and masters live, how versions are named, and how feedback and approvals are tracked across dozens of cutdowns and formats. Studios with a clear review process and one place for the latest files are easier to work with over a long programme.

How Fabric helps content studio teams

Fabric gives a content studio one workspace for footage, scripts, briefs and client feedback, with AI search across all of it. The setup for content creation teams keeps each client’s assets, edits and call notes together. Any folder can become a Kanban board whose cards are the files themselves, which suits a pipeline that runs from script to publish. There is more on this in content planning with Fabric.

Rushes and masters sit in Fabric’s cloud drive, which streams files on demand so they take no local disk space, and editors can open heavy video without a full download. Transcription makes interviews and podcasts searchable with clickable timestamps, so search can jump to the moment a line was said. Similar search finds shots by composition, colour and subject, which helps when hunting for b-roll.

For delivery, any file or folder can be published as a web page with password protection, and link analytics shows when each named recipient opened it and for how long. Clients can leave threaded comments through a shared link without creating an account. Timestamped comments on video are coming to annotations; for now, comments attach to the file.

On Team plans, self-writing docs keep a page for each client, built from meetings, Slack and the workspace, covering decisions, deliverables and open items.

Password protection and link analytics are included on Pro and Team plans, and self-writing docs on Team plans, which start from $125 a month. See plans for teams.

Frequently asked questions

What does a content studio do?

A content studio makes brand content in volume across social, digital and long-form channels. Some, such as WPP Production and Tag, specialise in producing and adapting assets for many markets. Others, such as Little Dot Studios, also run channels and distribution for their clients.

What happened to Hogarth?

WPP brought Hogarth and production teams from across its network together as WPP Production, which took effect on 23 February 2026. Richard Glasson, Hogarth’s former global CEO, leads the new company.

Which London content studios won awards in 2026?

LADbible Group won Branded Content at Campaign’s 2026 Media Company of the Year awards, and Jungle Creations won Best Large Agency at the Global Social Media Awards 2026.

How is a content studio different from a social media agency?

The two overlap. Social media agencies usually run community management, influencer programmes and paid social, while content studios focus on making the content and, in some cases, running channels. Our list of the best social media agencies in London covers the social side.

How much does a London content studio cost?

It depends on the model. Production units tend to price per asset or on a retained volume, publishers often sell production together with distribution on their own channels, and long-form series are budgeted much like television. Ask for a rate card and an example scope before comparing quotes.
