Best Branding Agencies in London (2026)
13 London branding agencies doing strong strategy, naming and identity work in 2026, from independent studios to network consultancies
Log in

Introduction
London is one of the main centres for brand strategy and identity work, and many of the best-known consultancies run large studios here. The 13 agencies below were chosen for recent identity work, 2025 and 2026 recognition, and the strength of their client lists.
Ownership has moved a lot since 2023. WPP folded Superunion into Design Bridge and Partners that year, and in May 2026 grouped Landor, Design Bridge and Partners, ManvsMachine, amp and others under a new WPP Brand & Design collective, keeping the agency names. After Omnicom completed its acquisition of IPG at the end of 2025, it put Interbrand, Wolff Olins, Siegel+Gale and Sterling Brands under one Omnicom Branding unit. Private equity has been busy too: in September 2026 Growth Capital Partners sold its stake in JKR to Breakwater Management, and WestBridge-backed Koto bought Stereo Creative.
Every agency here has an active London studio in 2026. Multidisciplinary design studios such as Pentagram appear on our separate design agencies list. The list runs in no fixed order of merit, since the right choice depends on your brief, budget and how you like to work.
The best branding agencies in London
1. Wolff Olins
Omnicom · Bankside · wolffolins.com
Wolff Olins was founded in London in 1965 and marked its 60th anniversary in 2025. Its London base is on Southwark Street at Bankside. Since the IPG deal it sits within Omnicom Branding, and its global executive creative director, Emma Barratt, was picked for the 2026 Cannes Lions Design shortlisting jury.
Its most visible recent London project is the March 2025 repositioning of Lloyds Banking Group around the line “Lloyds moves everyone forward”, with a motion system for the black horse and a custom GT Ultra typeface. Other recent clients include Decathlon, Benefit, Blank Street and Sandals & Beaches Resorts.
2. Interbrand
Omnicom · London · interbrand.com
Interbrand is a brand consultancy with around 50 years of history and a strong London presence. It pioneered brand valuation in the 1980s and still publishes the annual Best Global Brands ranking. The 2025 edition, released in October, valued the top 100 at $3.6 trillion and added 12 new entrants, the most since the ranking began in 2000.
Its work spans brand strategy, experience design and valuation, with 2025 clients including LEGO, British Airways, Mini, Bugatti and Juventus. The valuation practice is useful when a rebrand has to be justified to a board in financial terms.
3. Landor
WPP · London · landor.com
Landor dropped “& Fitch” from its name in November 2023 and relaunched with a fluid visual, verbal, sonic and motion identity. Its group brings in the motion studio ManvsMachine, sonic branding firm amp and the architecture practice BDG. Jane Geraghty, Landor’s global CEO, also leads WPP Brand & Design, set up in 2026.
The London and New York studios jointly won Pearson’s rebrand in a competitive pitch and launched it in June 2025, which executive creative director Graham Sykes described as “a revolution, not an evolution”. With so many specialist units in the wider group, ask early which ones will be on your team.
4. Design Bridge and Partners
WPP · London · designbridge.com
Design Bridge and Partners launched in 2023 when WPP merged Design Bridge with Superunion, creating an 850-person brand design agency led by CEO John Morris. Creative Review named it Most Creative Design Agency of the Year in May 2026, alongside a Grand Prix. Its Network Rail Rail Clock also won a Bronze Design Lion at Cannes in 2026.
The Rail Clock, unveiled at London Bridge station in October 2025, is the railway’s first national clock design in over 50 years. Fortnum & Mason is a long-running London client, with Pentawards wins in 2025 and the Biscuitorium at the Piccadilly store in 2026. Former Superunion clients are now served by this agency.
5. Lippincott
Oliver Wyman (Marsh McLennan) · London · lippincott.com
Lippincott is a brand, experience and marketing consultancy owned by Oliver Wyman, part of Marsh McLennan. It runs nine offices, including London and Dubai, and published its CMO Outlook 2026 report this year.
Recent work includes Korean Air, Bibigo, LendingTree and Qnity. Its consulting parentage suits briefs where brand architecture sits close to wider business questions such as mergers, spin-offs and portfolio changes.
6. JKR
Breakwater Management · Shoreditch · jkrglobal.com
JKR (Jones Knowles Ritchie) was founded in London in 1990 by Joe Jones, Andy Knowles and Ian Ritchie. It works from the Tea Building in Shoreditch and from New York, under the line “Be Distinctive Everywhere”. In September 2026 Growth Capital Partners sold its investment in the agency to Breakwater Management, a Los Angeles private equity firm.
In June 2026 JKR rolled out a new KFC identity built around the bucket, launching across the UK, Ireland, Australia and the US. Earlier London work includes the 2022 identity for the Big Issue Group. Coca-Cola, Ford and Walmart are long-standing clients. With the ownership change so recent, it is reasonable to ask about plans for the London studio.
7. Koto
Independent, WestBridge-backed · Southwark · koto.com
Koto was founded in London in 2015 by James Greenfield, Caroline Matthews and Jowey Roden, and its London studio is on Great Suffolk Street. WestBridge invested in 2025, and in September 2026 Koto acquired Stereo Creative, taking the group to 230 people across eight locations.
Recent work includes Instagram’s new wordmark for Meta in 2026 and Amazon’s global brand transformation in 2025, covering 15 markets and more than 50 sub-brands. Koto is also Microsoft’s branding agency of record and refocused Tripadvisor’s brand around its travel community.
8. Ragged Edge
Independent · Hatton Garden · raggededge.com
Ragged Edge is a London branding agency and certified B Corp, based at The Bindery in Hatton Garden. It is best known for tech, fintech and challenger brands, and Max Ottignon of the agency writes on AI and branding for Adweek.
Clients include Wise, Granola, Marshmallow, Papier, Globe-Trotter and Optimizely. The agency reports results against its projects; for Wise it cites a 58% share price increase in the 12 months after the new brand launched.
9. Pearlfisher
Independent · London · pearlfisher.com
Pearlfisher is an independent, strategy-first brand design agency founded in 1992, working from London and New York. It is a certified B Corp, and William Maughan became managing director of the London studio in 2025.
Its strength is consumer brands and packaging, with recent work for McDonald’s, Coppertone, Gushers, BYOMA and NÜTRL. Projects usually run from positioning through identity, packaging and motion.
10. Turner Duckworth
Publicis Groupe · London · turnerduckworth.com
Turner Duckworth designs identities and packaging from studios in London, San Francisco and New York, which work on projects together. It is part of Publicis Groupe. In 2025 it won Gold at the Pentawards, a One Show award for Kleenex, and a Brand Impact Awards Bronze for Barista.
Clients include McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Amazon, Levi’s and Samsung. Recent British work includes a 2025 redesign of Smythson’s diaries and packaging for Star Hill Farm Whisky, stocked at Selfridges.

12. Elmwood
MSQ · London · elmwood.com
Elmwood is a brand strategy and design consultancy with offices in London, New York, Singapore and Shanghai. It is part of MSQ, the marketing group in which One Equity Partners made a significant investment in 2023.
Its work centres on consumer goods, with recent redesigns for Coca-Cola, E45, Ribena, Milo and Opill. Unilever, Nestlé, Mars and Colgate are also clients.
13. DixonBaxi
Independent · London · dixonbaxi.com
DixonBaxi is an independent London studio focused on brand creation for sport, entertainment and technology. It also publishes The DixonBaxi Way, a series on creativity and running a studio.
Clients include Formula 1, Roblox, TikTok, ESPN, Hulu, the MTV VMAs and AC Milan, and recent work includes EA Sports FC. Its identities are built for screens and motion first, which suits brands that live mostly in apps, broadcast and games.
What to look for in a London branding agency
Start with ownership. Agencies inside Omnicom Branding or WPP Brand & Design can draw on sister firms for motion, sound, environments and valuation. Independents and private equity-backed agencies tend to give more senior attention, though ownership changes such as JKR’s 2026 sale are worth asking about before you sign.
Be clear about scope. A naming project, a positioning exercise and a full identity system need different skills, and naming in particular needs trademark and language checks across every market you plan to enter. Ask who handles that, and whether legal clearance is included or sits with your own lawyers.
Look at how the work rolls out. A new identity only works if packaging, app screens, signage and campaigns all pick it up, so ask to see guidelines from past projects and how the agency supports teams after launch. London agencies working for global clients often hand over to regional teams and production partners, which makes the handover materials as important as the identity.
Finally, check how files, feedback and approvals are handled. A brand programme produces hundreds of logo files, typefaces, mock-ups and guideline versions, and they pass between agency, client and suppliers for months. Agree early where the master files live, how rounds of feedback are collected, and who signs off each stage.
How Fabric helps branding agency teams
Fabric gives a branding team one workspace for its files, client feedback and research, with AI search across all of it. The setup for brand identity agencies keeps strategy decks, interview recordings, logo explorations and final assets for each client in one place.
Identity work is visual, and so is the search. Search works by meaning across documents, images, PDFs and transcribed recordings, and colour search finds assets by shade. Similar search surfaces related images by composition, colour and subject, which helps when pulling references or checking that a new mark does not sit too close to past work. Early exploration can live on a canvas as a moodboard, with Figma files embedded alongside images.
For presenting and approvals, any file or folder can be published as a web page and shared with password protection, and link analytics shows when each named recipient opened it. Clients can leave threaded comments through a shared link without signing up, and annotations let reviewers highlight and comment on PDF guidelines. Drawing directly on images is coming soon.
After launch, published brand guidelines update when the source files change, so suppliers always see the current version. On Team plans, self-writing docs keep a page for each client covering decisions, deliverables and open items, drawn from meetings, Slack and the workspace.
Password protection and link analytics are included on Pro and Team plans, and self-writing docs on Team plans. See plans for teams.
